I'm Sarah. Nice to meet you!

I'm currently the principal and lead designer at UpHoist, a design and development agency that specializes in custom web and app development. I have 8+ years of experience in branding, art direction, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, web development, and user research.

Prior to opening my agency, I served as the Lead User Experience Architect for LimeRed Studio, a socially focused design and development firm that works with Nonprofits, Universities, and Corporations with Social Responsibility Programs.

When I'm not designing or developing, I enjoy being outdoors, painting, traveling, watching puppy videos on YouTube, and attempting to run long distances.

I'm also active in the Chicago design community and speak at conferences and meet-ups around the city.
