I am currently the Coordinator for IDEALS, a set of services and collections supporting scholarly communication (including the institutional repository) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am also the co-Coordinator for the Scholarly Commons, a space for expert, interdisciplinary research support services. I am responsible for working with faculty, students, and researchers on a range of scholarly communication issues including author rights, open access, theses and dissertations, data management, and data curation. I regularly speak and publish on scholarly communication issues, data management services in libraries, and institutional repositories.
I am an avid gardener. I am a fan of the Moomins and the Buffyverse, and have a soft spot for Georgette Heyer‘s regency romances. I live with my partner, Morgan, three cats, and a cardigan corgi named Huw.
