I was born in the UK, educated at MMU and Leeds University and spent my early working life lurking in the dark corners of nightclubs, an onlooker to the drink and drug culture of the late '90s.

I was able to travel extensively around the world, in particular through the US, finding myself to be an onlooker, once again, but this time on the TV and movie industry.

Having then spent many hundreds of hours making up tales in my head, in order to get to sleep, I set to and started to write about what I had seen.

I write contemporary and sometime gritty fiction, the first one to be published is 'Blood on the Red Carpet', a love story which moves between LA, NYC and London, set around the drama of Hollywood TV studios.
