Sarah Weaver

I was born and raised in the beautiful scenic Ulster County to my parents, Alex and Dru Kambouris on November 16, 1987. My parents, my support systems and my bestfriends had met at the ripe ole' age of 19 and 22. My father had been in America for only 3 months when he said he met the woman of his dreams, my mother. He spoke not I word of English which led to a difficult conversation between them but they got through the hello's and how are you's just fine. Thirty one years later my mother still says, "it's all Greek to me." Growing up I had attended the Rondout Valley School District from which I had graduated and then continued my education at SUNY Ulster for which I received my Associates Degree for Business and continued to study Advertising and Graphic Design. I had started my first business when I was nerely 17 years of age with the support, love and devotion of my parents. This week, April 26,2010 to be exact, I had celebrated by 5th year in business. In June 2009, my older brother, George and I had opened a pet supply and feed store which is significant to me in numerous ways. One, it was the business which my parents had, had 9 years prior and also, it is where I had met and grew to love my husband, Rich 6 years before. Rich and I had met when I was 15 years old, and he, 17 years of age in 2002. I would work at my fathers store, " A&G; Custom Made Furniture," answering phones and when I wasn't "busy" I would go next store where Rich worked (the feed store) and "help" Rich ring people up on register for I was familiar with the business. We have been together ever since. Most people would classify us as, "high school sweethearts," which we are, however we would like to classify ourselves as,"soul mates," even if it is a common cliche. We have always been and will always be, "Sarah & Rich." I have many things to be grateful for, my family, whom is my eyes when I cannot see, my hands when I cannot feel and my crutch when I cannot walk. I am grateful for my husband, for I have been able to love and be loved more than anyone could ask for and many are unable to feel throughout a lifetime. I am grateful for my dog, Oliver, for he makes me smile without any words with his love and his devotion. I am grateful for whom ever is apart of my life for they have changed my life, impacted it and have made me the person I am today. Be grateful and appreciate all that comes to you in life whether it be good or bad, whether he or she is pleasant or unpleas
