GROWING UP:
What do you want to be when you "grow up" and why? After graduating from WSU I want to attend medical school and work towards becoming a Radiologist. I have always wanted to work in the medical field, especially after one of my best friends in 8th grade was diagnosed with liver cancer.
WSU TIDBITS:
Where is your favorite place to study? I prefer to study at home most of the time, but when I study on campus I enjoy to sit in the Smith Center for Undergraduate Education. There are quite a few tables in front of a large wall of windows, and the building is usually always quiet.
What advice do you have for new cougar parents? While you should be encouraging your students to be more independent, always be there as a support system. College has many rocky points and I don’t know where I would be without my parents. Also, never miss a Mom's or Dad's weekend if possible. These weekends were some of my favorite weekends on campus and they would not have been the same if my Mom or Dad had not been able to attend.
If you could change one thing about your college experience, what would it be? As I am ending my senior year, I wish that I would have joined more clubs or had more opportunities to get involved on campus.
FAVORITES:
Favorite Book: Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
Favorite Quote: "You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it." - Benjamin Mee (We Bought A Zoo)
INVOLVEMENT:
I am heavily involved in the Greek Community, and I work on campus as a Cougar Connector.
GO COUGS!
