A French citizen with a background in international business spanning Latin American and Europe, Sarah Alicia Moya Machado also has focused on social projects. Working in La Guajira, Colombia, she helped establish a program that assists children in realizing their creative capacities and addresses poverty-related challenges. The Ventana Mágica initiative draws on Sarah Moya Machado’s extensive professional experience within the oil industry to both help communities in need and give oil companies opportunities to fulfill their social responsibilities and improve their reputations.
A graduate of Sorbonne University, Ms. Moya Machado resided in Paris in the 1990s and focused on international business studies. Her research focused on areas such as Latin American nations and service-sector issues handled within the World Trade Organization. She completed a pre-doctoral diplôme d'études approfondies with a concentration in economics at Sorbonne. Her academic background extends to instructing at Grenoble University and she holds a doctorate in political science from the Sorbonne.
Her areas of corporate experience include government relations and strategic operations, and she has been involved with high-stake negotiations in her field.
