Sarah PJs

I live in Columbus with my husband, two young daughters, and pesky cat. I write on little scraps of paper about domestic life, Jesus, things I should have done. I'm forgetful and impatient. Lonely and overwhelmed. In the morning, I drink strong coffee and sing loudly to hymns about grace.

This city is very important to me, and I try my best to love it well. I maneouver my stroller over the bumpy sidewlaks in my neighborhood. I try to eat locally. I've been friends with a group of inner city kids for many years now - in fact, most of them aren't really kids anymore.

I try to love Jesus the best I can, which frankly, is not all that well. I often wish he came up with a better plan than the church. What a bunch of screw-ups (self included). If this means anything to you, my theology is of the old-neo-Calvinist type - I used to live in Grand Rapids, own all the OTR albums and Kuyper is my guy.
