"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more & become more, you are a leader." -John Quincy Adams

My name is Sarah Rose Thornsberry. I'm currently a Senior at the University of Kentucky, set to graduate in May 2012! I'm quite the "busy bee" in terms of the kinds of things I get involved in, but I'll only go into detail on a couple.

First of all, I have been a brother of Alpha Kappa Psi co-ed business fraternity Omicron Psi chapter since Fall 2008 and it has given me some of the best experiences of my life (both professionally and personally). It has also enabled me to build my personal network from being involved all throughout college, mostly because we have some amazing alumni.

Secondly, I have been a Gatton Global Scholar since I came to college as well. It's a business honors program of sorts that has enabled me to develop an international perspective through rigorous coursework & gave me an opportunity to spend a semester studying in Grenoble, France at a top ranked business school to earn my Certificate in International Business.

Lastly, I currently work as a Senior Resident Adviser at the University of Kentucky as well. I absolutely love working within the Office of Residence Life and my experiences with this job over the past 2 years has been nothing short of fantastic. This has provided me many opportunities to develop myself in many ways, especially in terms of management capabilities, interactive skills, and programming development.

I like to think my life is an open book, mostly because I have depth but I'm really not that complicated to read - all you have to do is look at my pages! I enjoy meeting new people, taking on new challenges, and taking life by the horns. I'm driven by my personal need to succeed and always aim to do my best at everything I involve myself in.
