Seventeen years ago, I began my career in education. The journey has brought me through a fulfilling teaching career, principalship, and into my current position as an assistant professor of Educational Leadership. I maintain a website titled Practical Education. A link to the site is found below.

I am a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana and earned all of my practitioner experience in Texas before moving with my husband and son to southeast Idaho for my first position in higher ed. I enjoy the great outdoors and find remarkable beauty in southeast Idaho where I value my close proximity to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. I subscribe the philosophy that I am in world of the "living" and enjoy grabbing from life what it can offer.
