Hi everyone! I don't want to bore everyone with things like where I am from and how old I am because to be honest no one probably cares! Instead, I want to talk about something that I am extremely passionate about, travel. This may sound super basic, but throughout my childhood I have had the privilege of being able to travel to places such as Bolivia and Thailand. When I say I am passionate about travel, I don't mean going to another country and staying at a beach resort (although I do love to do that too), I mean being able to meet new people and experience cultures different from the ones I have experienced growing up in Atlanta. Throughout college, I want to continue to cultivate this passion through programs such as study abroad and internships. Since our world has become so connected through the internet, I think it is crucial that we come together as global citizens to create a more diverse and understanding society. These last few months have been hard for me because we have been again stuck in our bubble, but I know the world will return to normal one day and we can continue to spread knowledge across country lines. Hopefully I can take travel with me after I leave UGA, and incorporate it into a profession somehow.
