Sarah Washington

I am an artist and activist working in the fields of sound, music and radio. I was involved in creating the radio station Resonance 104.4FM and the international radio art network Radia. My activities revolve around making unusual radio works and happenings, and performing improvised music on home-made electronic instruments. I produce radio art and self-build electronics workshops internationally for cultural institutions, and very much enjoy writing.
In 2005 I began the travelling radio project Mobile Radio together with Knut Aufermann. We also have a performance duo, Tonic Train.
