Sara Dickey
Geographer, Cartographer in training, and Collector of Books in Wyoming
I just finished roaming the great open roads of Wyoming collecting data for mapmakers. I personally love data and what it can do for any cause. As the great Sir Author Conan Doyle wrote, "I never guess. It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts."
I went back to school in my 30's to do something for the world. The world has given me a great life and I wish to help improve Earth's health (or more specifically environment) and the life of its inhabitants.
I have a BA in Geography and in Environmental Studies. I'm a friendly problem solver. A travel fan. An explorer. A thinker. And an introvert. My secret ultimate dream job would be to create maps for National Geographic.
I am deliberate in my actions. I anticipate obstacles. I am fascinated by ideas. I find connection in things. I have a drive and craving to know more and do more. And I have a great desire to improve myself through learning.
Well that's me in a nutshell!
