Sara Leslie

Integra Telecom contracted me as a Project Manager and ScrumMaster through March of 2014. I work with two teams producing internal software tools. Here I learned a little Perl and Python running on Linux.

Previously, I worked at Sharp Labs of America in Camas, Washington near Portland. We researched and prototyped new enhancements for Sharp products including digital signage and office products. I was a Project Manager at Sharp for 15 years in the embedded software group for Digital Imaging.

During mid 1990s I worked as a senior software engineer at Tektronix in the networking group. All printers used our embedded network code written in C.

I earned my BS in Computer Science at Oregon State University, graduating with Honors. I've worked for Computervision, Floating Point Systems, and Four Phase Computers.

My first degree was in Physical Geography and I worked as a cartographer for Yamhill County Planning Dept.

I love living in southern Washington and grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. I've done Cycle Oregon 3 times. I enjoy walking and completed the Portland half marathon walk in October 2013.
