Sara is in her fourth school year as a College Advisor with KIPP Through College for KIPP Bay Area Schools. Her previous work experience in educational settings ranges from the high school classroom to college-level student life offices. Sara hails from the Garden State but considers herself a Californian after 7 years of blissful residency. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of Delaware, having earned her BA in Secondary English Education (and spending her extracurricular time singing in a co-ed a cappella group, performing with a student theatre company, and giving campus tours). She holds a Master's degree from Saint Mary's College of California in School Counseling where she focused her researched on the college application and decision processes. Now she's taking her education and experiences one step further by pursuing her PPS Credential. Sara enjoys tea, practicing yoga, window shopping, combing through crafting and foodie blogs, and exploring more of California and the Bay Area.
