My philosophy: I am a firm believer that being yourself is the best policy. Stand up for what you believe in even if it’s not popular. Live for your passions because that will result in your best work. Do the nonconventional; live the nontraditional.
My experience: I study international business at John Brown University and am graduating this December. I have been given some amazing international opportunities while studying at JBU such as studying and interning in Northern Ireland as well as studying Spanish while backpacking around South America. This summer, I was able to embark on an Asian adventure which included studying business/economic growth and development in China, helping install an aquaponics system in Cambodia, and earning a TESOL certificate in Thailand.
My goal: Live my life to help others, whether it be undocumented immigrants in the United States or remote villagers in Uganda. Seize the opportunities life gives me. Take risks. Help change the world in some way for the better.
