Sara McArthur

Sara, born and raised on a small farm in New Jersey, is now completing her senior year at Boston College. She studies Communications with a minor in Management and Leaderships and will receive her B.A. degree in May 2017. Outside of her academic life, Sara devotes most of her time to Irish dance. For 15years, Sara has competed at the region, national, and international levels of Irish dance in both solo and ceili competitions. She now finds herself in a leadership role on the Boston College Irish dance club. It cannot be doubted, Irish dance is her extracurricular passion. Moreover, she loves to travel. After a semester studying in Geneva, Switzerland, Sara's travel bug just continues to grow. She loves to explore the many different cultures, climates, and relationships she can make and foster all around the globe. She is the youngest in her family with four older brothers who has all taught her to stand up for herself, to be thoughtful of others, and as her dad says "find a reason to laugh every day".
