Sarang Ahuja is a Principal Analyst for wholesale operations for Constellation Energy. From a young age, Ahuja aspired to be a business and finance professional. He attended Florida State University and graduated with his Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance, where he was able to explore the opportunities and gain the knowledge and skills to help grow his career. He then went on the the Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida where he got his Masters of Science Degree in Finance. Following grad school, Sarang Ahuja worked for Brookstreet Securities/National Securities as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager. Not only through his work experience and knowledge, but through the determination and passion of reaching success in the business world, Sarang Ahuja is able to continuously able to utilize his passion and knowledge in the world of finance.
It was while he was working at Brookstreet that Sarang discovered poker and he picked it up in 2005. Sarang Ahuja then played in various local tournaments but in 2009 he decided to enter into the 40th Annual World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Buying in at $1,500, Sarang battled through the tournament that had over 2000 entrants and finished in 31st place, cashing out at over $15,000. He attended the 41st Annual World Series of Poker the following year and placed 34th cashing out at over $12,000 after buying in at $1,500. Sarang Ahuja does not believe in luck. Instead sitting at the tables for hours at a time, pushes him to the limits and allows him to practice the master skill of professional poker. He continues to play in tournaments around the country.
