Hej, I’m Sara Andersson!

I have various experiences from both the IKEA store and global assignments. I’m observant, quick to learn and strongly believe in our values and always try to act in line with our culture, it’s simply the vital reason for me to work within IKEA. Being a Diversity & Inclusion ambassador is another angle that gives me a lot of energy. To share this and our culture with colleagues and external parties is like a baseline for me, representing both the company and myself, and I carry this with me everywhere.

My different positions within IKEA have really taught me the value of speed, planning and collaboration, both in- and outside the company. It’s a luxury to be able to combine this with my personal traits, to see possibilities and have fun. Working all over the world and meet all these people is also very rewarding. Not only have I met great colleagues and created a network over big parts of the organisation, I also have established great friendship with many of them. Reflecting on it, this is probably the outcome when you work and lead in an authentic way. When I evaluate what brings energy into my work and heart, the ability to contribute to change and to be part of creating a better world is on the top of my list. In this role, I see many opportunities to develop the customer and co-worker experience in all channels and touchpoints to really excel the customer success in the long run. I do this with passion, empathy, business focus, team spirit and a bunch of can-do attitude, topped with a smile.
