Sarat Sabharwal

A board-certified urologist and a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine, Dr. Sarat Sabharwal began his career in 1997 when he joined the Midwest Urological Group in Peoria, Illinois. After leaving the group to spend several years with Peoria-based Affiliated Urology Specialists, he rejoined Midwest Urological Group, where he practiced for another nine years. During this time, Dr. Sarat Sabharwal complemented his clinical practice with his role as an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria.

In 2013, Dr. Sarat Sabharwal moved to Florida to accept a position as a urologist with Florida Urology Associates. He builds upon this background in his current roles as a urologist with Health Orlando in Kissimmee, the urology section chief of the Orlando VA Medical Center, and an assistant professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

In his practice, Dr. Sarat Sabharwal leverages training in cancer treatment, robotics surgery, cosmetic surgery, and other specialties to treat patients with a range of urologic conditions, including kidney cancer and erectile dysfunction.

A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Sarat Sabharwal also holds membership in the American Board of Urology and the American Association of Clinical Urologists. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Sabharwal pursues a diverse range of hobbies that include skiing and snowboarding.
