Sarbjit Kaur

Sarbjit Kaur, Marketing | Development (Consultant), is a long-time resident of Mississauga with more than 10 years of experience in journalism, government, public relations, corporate communications, marketing and advocacy. She worked as an editor and writer before building a stellar career in the public sector where she served in senior communications and marketing roles in the office of the Minister and the Ontario Public Service. She is currently the Acting Director of Communications & Corporate Secretary of the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC), an agency of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport dedicated to promoting and supporting the provinces’ cultural media industries and also runs her own consulting business, Kaur Communications, serving small to mid-sized organizations such as the Ontario Association of Police Service Boards and Meningitis Relief Canada.
