Sarena Straus

Sarena Straus is the author of "Bronx D.A.: True Stories from the Sex Crimes and Domestic Violence Unit." From 1995-2000, Sarena Straus was a prosecutor at the Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County. She appeared in the Discovery Channel documentary, "Crime and Justice, The Bronx." She is the author of several legal articles and serves as an editor for the magazine "ACC Docket." She has appeared as a commentator on such shows as "The O'Reilly Factor," "Entertainment Tonight," "The Abrams Report," "Good Day New York," "Catherine Crier Live," "MSNBC Dayside," and on over a hundred radio shows including WNYC radio's Leonard Lopate show, and on the US Radio Network, Court TV's "Bloom & Politan" and "Nancy Grace."

Sarena worked as a consultant for CBS/Paramount and frequently writes and comments on child safety and domestic violence prevention.

She is currently working on her first novel.
