Sarfaraz is a Commerce Graduate with a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management and Development from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), University of Bombay, now a Deemed University. He is also a certified Lead Auditor for Quality Management Services (QMS). ISO 9001 : 2000. Having largely worked with a highly ethical and manpower- centric organisation – dealing with both professionals and volunteers, realises the importance of having established systems and procedures, ensuring their sustainability, constantly upgrading the technical and functional skills for increasing efficiencies and effectiveness of service delivery for organisational and management sustainability.

He has been an expert in developing internationally valid Human Resource Management policies, acting as a consultant for a multi-national pharmaceutical, a training academy as well as for a not for profit organization and an extensive consultancy project in Angola, West Africa. His travels abroad to the United Kingdom, Canada, Kenya and Angola have given him international exposure to management styles, thought processes, their functioning and enable him to draw comparisons between the differing styles of functioning across continents.

The in-house newsletter edited by him brought together people from different geographic locations and cultures across India on a common platform leveraging the potential of a powerful communication tool for dissemination of organisational activities and highlighting individual achievements.

With a rich and varied work experience of more than 25 years, Sarfaraz is able to create content and curriculum, vet and deliver soft skills related to various subjects – dealing with Leadership styles, organisational functioning – corporate and interpersonal communication skills (both written and spoken), organisational etiquettes, team building, time management techniques, organisational and personal effectiveness and a host of other topics in the sphere of behavioural change.
