Sarina Ponte

I am goal-oriented, organized, and passionate about mental health care. I am attending the University of Denver to pursue a Master’s in Counseling Psychology. My clinical focus is in eating disorders.

My mission is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by the eating disorder population. I value compassion, understanding, and respect. I am passionate about serving the underserved and providing them with a holistic approach to treatment.

I have worked with different populations including toddlers, adult sex workers, drug addicts, veterans, convicts, and teenagers.

Currently I am a volunteer at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center and the Hampshire County Jail and House of Corrections.
