You can find me most days teaching AP United States History in New York City. When I'm not teaching and curriculum consulting, I am a music and fitness writer with over ten years of fashion and entertainment creative experience as a copywriter and brand consultant for companies including Victoria's Secret. I am currently a contributing writer to various publications including BELLA NYC.

I am an expert in music and fitness trends (and you can also include teen trends to that list thanks to my day job). I got my career start in book publishing and then the internet industry helping to create the online presence and facilitate advertising deals for some of the top teen pop stars of the late 1990’s including NSYNC, Christina Aguilera, and Hanson.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in United States History from Columbia College, Columbia University (where I ran on the Varsity Cross Country and Track teams) and a Master of Arts in Social Studies Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
