Sarmad Owais

I have been writing screenplays for over ten years and have written various screenplays, ranging from feature length, to short film and teleplays.

I am a New York Film Academy graduate in multiple diplomas: One year Filmmaking and 12 weeks Screenwriting. I'm also a QALAMBAAZ fellow (a professional development program for screenplay writing in Pakistan). And most recently won the nationwide competition, "The Next Big Story", held by Fawad Khan's new production company.

I'm currently working on a TV series for Jump Across Films in India.
