You can read my articles with a click on the button above.Sarthak Laha is a Doctoral Fellow at the School of Women's Studies, Jadavpur University, and serves as Guest Faculty in the Department of History at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math. Born in 1998, he completed his secondary examination in 2014 with a first division, securing 85% marks. In 2016, he ranked 19th in the higher secondary examination. Sarthak graduated with honours in history from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math, in 2019 and was awarded a gold medal. In 2021, he obtained his M.A. in history from Jadavpur University, achieving first-class marks. He qualified for WB SET in 2020 and cleared NTA NET twice—first in September 2020 and then in November 2022 with an NFOBC-JRF. In 2023, he was awarded an M.Phil. from Jadavpur University and is now pursuing a Ph.D. at the School of Women's Studies, Jadavpur University. Sarthak has edited three books and authored his first monograph, Kolkatar Jhadudar Ebang Methor Nari: Shrom, Shohor o Linga (Dhaanyamanjari, 2025).Sarthak has published numerous articles in both national and international journals and has participated in various international seminars. His research interests include women's history, the folk culture of Bengal, the history of public health, and the socio-cultural history of Bengal. Additionally, he is affiliated with several magazines.
