I was raised on a farm in Northern Illinois in a small town called Freeport. It was then that my love for animals of all kinds grew and flourished. I was fond of our cattle so much that i would allow them to lick my face. Our Collie "Lady" close behind me.

It was not until the age of 27 when I landed a job at PetSmart as a Dog trainer did my natural born talent blossom. I knew nothing about dogs or dog behavior. All I knew is that I wanted to do this and I would do whatever it took to succeed. I spent the first 2 months in extensive training, exams and hands on with the Area Trainer of my District. I started my first Obedience class on My birthday May 7 2001. I ended up getting promoted to Area Pet training Instructor of Idaho and Sacramento in 2008.

My career with PetSmart ended in October of 2010 and it was then that I decided to try grooming. Im not very good at it. And my heart was just not into it. My passion is Dog training. So here I am.... because saving lives just feels good.
