Steven A. San Filippo

Steven A. San Filippo, founder and principal of San Filippo & Associates, is a certified turnaround professional with more than 30 years of hands-on experience assisting middle market clients nationwide. He has served as chief restructuring officer, chief financial officer, chief operating officer, financial advisor and crisis manager, as well as chairman of the board, trustee, and assignee for the benefit of creditors. Steve has represented hundreds of clients, focusing on cash flow, corporate finance, strategic and operational issues, complex debt restructuring, turnaround plan development and implementation, collateral evaluation, and claims resolution. He has assisted clients in the manufacturing, distribution, printing, publishing, retail, and healthcare industries, among others, as well as lenders and unsecured creditors. Steve received a BA in liberal arts from Gettysburg College and an MBA in finance from New York University Stern School of Business. He is a graduate of The Wharton School’s Advanced Management Program, and is certified by the Turnaround Management Association.
