Sasikumar Gurumoorthy

Prof.G.SasiKumar received his B.E. degree in Computer science from the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai in 2003, his M.E., from the Anna University Chennai in 2005 and Pursuing Ph.D. in VIT University, Vellore from 2009. He was a Faculty of J.J. College of Engineering and Technology for eight months and he was with Kuriji college of Engineering and Technology for two years and eight months, 2006-2009, heading the Information Technology Department during 2007-2009 and he was with the School of Computing science and Engineering, VIT University, Vellore from March 2009 to March 2015. He is now with Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore from July 2015.

He is involved in organizing a number of research projects Proposals and workshops, Conferences on topics covering Computer science and research activities. He has lectured extensively in these areas both in India and abroad. He has been a member of editor Board of several Journals in the areas of Computer Science. He organized a number of courses in Computer science in J.J and Kurinji college of Engineering and Technology; in the last three years he conducted similar courses in CCNA, FOSS, Computer Hardware, and SAP in around Tamilnadu. He is a member of the CSI-Computer Society of India, IAENG International Association of Engineers and AIRCC- Academy & Industry Research Collaboration Center.

For his outstanding contributions in the Wipro-Misson10X has been awarded In Pursuit of Excellence in Engineering Education through Innovation (in 2009) and in the WCE 2010 Best Research Paper award (in 2010,London,UK) by the International Association of Engineers.

His research interests are in the areas of Soft Computing and Artificial Intelligence in Biomedical Engineering, Human and Machine Interaction and applications of intelligent system techniques.
