Who am I?

I am an immigrant, engineer, tinkerer, brother, partner, son, movie-goer, hiker, pie eater, meditator, world traveler and earthling.

What do I do?

I partner, remove obstacles, collaborate, find root causes, seek solutions, provide clarity & context, take risks, ponder & assess, delegate, support, build consensus, expect others to seek peer input, research, learn by doing, and lead by example.

What don't I do?

Hold grudges, perfection, blame individuals for production outages, come to quick conclusions, swim, sing, spelunk, eat red meat, and extreme weather.

How do i communicate?

Face to face (always preferred). Slack (I may not respond immediately, nor do I expect an immediate response unless urgency is expressed). Email (may get missed or delayed response). Whiteboard (love to brainstorm). Like to see big picture before jumping into details and appreciate if you can propose solutions along with any problems.

What is my 1:1 philosophy?

This is your time and I expect you to drive the agenda. I start each 1:1 with "whats on your mind?" and end each one with "how can I help you?" What you share in our 1:1 is confidential. It is my goal to clear your fears, uncertainties and doubts.

What are the parting thoughts?

Plan is nothing, planning is everything. Think big. start small. fail fast. scale up!
