Stephen Atkins CPhT, RPhT
Knoxville, Tennessee
Certified Pharmacy Technician and graduate of Virginia College of Knoxville as of March 2015 and achieved my goal of PTCB certification on February 14, 2015.
While attending college I have been the undergraduate assistant for the Pharmacy Program Director, involved in Pharmacy Club, Student Ambassador, and a Tutor and Mentor to the students of the Pharmacy program, as well as, other members of the student community.
I have a very outgoing personality. I have never met a stranger and am always willing to give assistance whenever needed. I am very goal oriented, extremely organized, and excel as a team player. I have always had the desire to gain as much knowledge as possible and to think outside the box to problem solve. The pharamceutical field keeps me challenged. Every day is a new set of challenges to face.
I feel that one must be a team player, detail oriented, and have the ability to solve problems within this field. This is why I have chosen this particular field of study.
I have also ran my own business refinishing antique furniture. I turned a hobby into a business and thouroughly enjoyed it.
