My name is Sat, and over the space of more than 2 decades I’ve helped to bring a number of innovative software products to fruition. Although I’ve fronted a number of innovative software projects however – from personal apps through full-blown systems for business – my core area of expertise honed over the last 25 years has been firmly grounded in the fields of Business Operations and Human Resources.
The software created by People is a unique administration system that takes creative care of the HR procedures within a business, and because it’s made up of all the things HR software has been missing over the years, it is what you might call my ‘brainchild’ – in other words, it’s the one project in my career I’ve felt the most proud of. It’s not a new concept to me of course, as before People, I was heavily involved in bringing a number of other HR software solutions to market. But although I was always confident about delivering functionality, efficiency and ease with HR systems, I also had an ever-present niggle reminding me that nothing existed on the HR software market to actually help HR professionals grow their career, push their company and make real impact. And if my experience has taught me anything, it’s that HR professionals actually want to be noticed, actually want to become key players within their company, and – perhaps more importantly – would never turn down a bit of expert advice; which is why I decided – along with the rest of the People team – that the People software would need features that delivered all of the above and more.
