Satya Doraisamy

I am a Corporate Counsel at Algolia, where I support our commercial and R&D teams.

I was previously a Legal Counsel at Tessian, a UK cybersecurity startup where I handled commercial negotiations in both EMEA and the USA. I then spent six months in Proofpoint's EMEA legal team following its late 2023 acquisition of Tessian.

Prior to joining the tech world, I trained at Ashurst LLP and qualified into its Digital Economy team, where I was fortunate to be part of the team working on Meta's 2Africa cable project. I also completed secondments to Goldman Sachs and Nomura.

Previously, I interned at Passion Capital and in risk management at Macquarie. I also wrote a daily tech newsletter to 40,000 subscribers.

In my spare time, I work on Nebula Learning, where we help UK schools teach personal finance to teenagers.
