Originally from Jhansi, I am a Filmmaker based in Mumbai, professionally sustained by my job as a Director and Casting Director. Also working for my own productions house "Soul 2 Soul Films” as a Producer/Director.

My background in Theatre and Performing Arts has cradled my love and interest in music and direction from a very early stage. I have completed my formal training in Dramatic Arts from the Mandi School Of Drama affiliated by National School of Drama, Delhi. During my stint at NSD, i performed extensively with the likes of Late Shri Habib Tanvir and Shri B.V. Karant.

After my graduation in 2000 from DRAMA SCHOOL, I started my own theatre company called the Soul Art Theatre Academy in Jhansi. My theatre endeavor met with successful collaboration with eminent theatre personalities like Alok Chatterji, Devendra Raj Ankur and Suresh Sharma on various projects. After running the company for three years, but yearning for more, I came to Mumbai in 2002.

Nose-diving straight into the television industry, I shuffled through various job profiles ranging from Assistant Director (Shhh…Koi Hai , Vikraal and Sanjivni” for Star Plus / Aati Rahengi Baharein for Zee TV / Saaksshi” for Sony ), to Executive Producer on shows like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi (Star Plus). After absorbing the essential elements of the television medium, my calling for celluloid pinned me down. I joined my first film project as an AD in "Ssshhh.." (by Mr. Pavan S Kaul) in 2003.

I eventually joined Ad Filmmaking with Code Red Productions in 2004 and remained in Code Red till 2006. I was a assistant in direction and soon, the associate director with Code Red. To name just a very few of prominent ads during Code red -

We the People (National Anthem), Parle Monacco, McDonalds’s, Cadbury, Titan, LG, Savlon, KBC, Airtel, Mentos, Videocon, Tide, Pepsi, Idea , Heinz and many more.

Since 2006, I am an independent Filmmaker and Casting Director, having casted for over 100 production Houses/ Ad Agencies and over thousands of TV Commercials. Some of prominent and regular ad film Production Houses I have worked with are: Nirvana Films, Black Magic Films, Ramesh Deo Productions, White Light Films, Hight Light Films, Opticus Films, O&M, Redifffusion etc

My Released hindi feature film Atkan Chatkan (2020) & Pintu Ki Pappi (2025) and done few award winning short film projects and have been writing few more features '
