My name is Jake Savage. I am currently a student in my final year studying Film and Video Production Technology at the University of Surrey in Guildford, UK.

I have a strong interest in Digital Cinema Technology and Camera and Lens Design. My goal with any production is to use the digital video medium in an unique and innovative way.

I have just completed my Professional Training Year at a Rental House in London; Video Europe Ltd. I got the opportunity to use and test a range of the latest technology in the world of both Digital Cinema and Broadcast. My roles included; Testing and Cleaning Lens, Checking and Setting Up Professional Camcorders and Testing a Range of Audio and Monitoring Equipment.

I am an aspiring Camera Assistant, Operator and Director of Photography. I have been able to grow my skills at university and beyond, shooting and assisting in various student led productions, having used a range of cameras from Canon C300s to the Sony F55.

I like to work with individuals who are just as passionate about cinema as me and who are as eager to challenge the way it is created. Individuals who want to use new technology to fuel their own creative spirit.
