"Whatever you are, be a good one."

As a Career Specialist at ACIC I have the privilege of guiding students to connect their passions and future career choices. I believe ACIC helps students live out Marc Anthony's quote, "love what you do and you'll never have to work a day in your life."

Here at K-State I am studying Family Studies and Human Services, with a minor in Conflict Analysis and Trauma Studies, with hopes to one day be a counselor for kids of all ages struggling with depression, anxiety or any hardships that life may bring. My passion lies in relationships and hearing people's triumphs as well as their hurt. I want to help people embrace every moment, whether it be extraordinary or challenging. As humans we are given incredible stories, and sometimes we just need someone in our corner to bring them out.

Here on campus I'm also involved with Alpha Delta Pi, as well as a campus ambassador for Camp War Eagle, a camp for kids of all walks of life in the NW Arkansas community.

ACIC has many resources to help students connect their interests with a future career. It is one of K State's hidden gems. Come check us out.
