Savanna Traylor

This is my first year to teach in a public school, and I am so EXCITED! I can't wait to go on a CREATIVE expedition with with all my students.

I am originally from Mtn. Home, Arkansas. I grew up on a small farm with two very supportive parents, 3 crazy brothers, and one sweet sister. I have wanted to be an art teacher since I was 15, and when it came time for my college adventure I decided to go to school at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Through my years spent in Jonesboro I travelled to Florence, Italy and took art classes with the Florence School of Art, I taught at the Foundation of Arts, a non-profit art school in Jonesboro, for a little over two years, and I met many wonderful artist who taught me what it means to be an artist.

I now live in Republic with Hagrid, a moody mini-schnauzer, and my wonderfully smart and handsome fiance Blake. We are both very excited to make lots of friends and start a life in Missouri.
