Astronomy is the study of the sky and the objects within it. With my creative, curious mind and artistic hands, I begin my journey. In my middle school years I have struggled a bit in science, but my eagerness to know about space and other forms of life just kept me functioning, which eventually made everything in science easier for me. Now I continue in my last year of high school and ready to begin my studies to fly up into space and discover the secrets of the unknown. Once during my fifth year of school, there was a project called “ Phases of the Moon “ and to do this project the teachers’ individually handed us oreo cookies and with the cookies we all removed the icing to shape up and create a first quarter moon, full moon, last moon, etc. I must say, this was the start of it all for me. Learning all the different types of moons, stars, undoubtedly intrigued me at this age and still does to this day. Studying is going to be a key point in becoming an astronaut along with receiving a bachelor's degree, at least three years of related professional experience obtained after degree completion, and the ability to pass the NASA long-duration astronaut physical. I have a great deal of obstacles to train and prepare for, but I will go in heart in hand ready to take on the world
