An internationally accredited music producer and engineer of several music genres including indigenous African genres; British born Nigerian, Ben Obi has worked with a majority of the urban music artists to emerge from Minneapolis, USA.
Ben Obi is the founder of Savannah Street Music, an artist development and music production company. In addition to working with most of the major music labels, Ben Obi has negotiated and facilitated performance deals with major corporations such as Boy Scouts of America, UNCF, General Mills Foundation, Minneapolis Urban League, and the Minneapolis Downtown Council. He also was an adjunct instructor at the Minneapolis Media Institute.
Currently as chief engineer for Savannah Street Music, Ben Obi concentrates his efforts on mixing, music production, developing and breaking new artists. In 2014, Ben Obi had two #1 hits on the UK Soul Charts.
