The Bali dog is under direct threat. Mass culling's have been ordered and are being carried out throughout the island. Local villagers are waking each day to the dead bodies of their beloved pets. Why is this happening? The local government state that to eradicate rabies from the island they must cull a large quantity of roaming dogs - owned or not. However this method will never eradicate rabies, which is scientifically proven to exacerbate the spread of the disease. Vaccination and sterilisation is the only way to end rabies and prevent the over population of more stray or wild dogs. Please help share this news with the world.
