About us

Did you know that despite all our rain, parts of the UK have less water available per person than Australia? Did you know that if we continue to use water the way we do currently, we won’t have enough water to meet demand?

Our mission

At Save Water Save Money, our aim is to build water efficiency awareness in the UK. Our aim is to spread the word that the key to saving water is about reducing waste, not restricting use. We’d like everyone to do their little bit as small changes can make a big difference.

Whether or not you’re on a water meter, saving water can reduce the amount of money you are spending on bills. If you’re on a water meter, the savings are obvious – but if you are not, you can still save money, as your energy bills will be less 25% of your home energy usage is taken up by heating water.

Recognition

We won the Environment Agency Water Efficiency Awards in 2009, and are constantly providing support to causes which promote water efficiency.

We strive on the idea of frugal living and try to make it easier for our customers to save water, energy and gas in this hard economic climate. We offer not only water efficient devices but also outline simple ways to save money. With Save Water Save Money you can live for less, reduce waste and help the environment.

How we do it

We provide all kinds of water-saving products to customers, from showerheads, eco-friendly washing machines, to waterbutts.

We also support most of the UK’s Water Companies with products and services, including helping them to market water-saving initiatives to their customers.

Customer service is our number one priority. We provide unrivalled customer service, which is one of the reasons we’re the UK’s largest online retailer of water saving products.

Who we are

Our business is about making active changes, encouraging everyone to be frugal and do their little bit to help both the environment and their budget.

We started trading in 2007 after our CEO Tim Robertson did a stint volunteering as a Ranger in a US National Park’s water-inefficient environment. On his return to the UK he noticed there was a disconnect between our use of water, and the limited nature of its supply-so he established SaveWaterSaveMoney.
