Savvy Tarafdar

Savvy Tarafdar was born in a political family. Father has been associated with politics for a long time. In such a situation, he wanted to work for people since childhood. Before the last assembly elections, he started working as an active worker of All India Trinamool Congress. Then his political career began through the Trinamul Chhatra Parishad, the youngest wing of the Trinamul Congress. He continued to work as an active worker of Bangaon Organizational District Trinamool Chhatra Parishad. He submitted his nomination papers as an independent candidate in the 2023 panchayat elections for people's demand, for people's development. After counting on 11 June 2023, he defeated his opponent by a margin of 47 votes. He won from 6th Sangsad, Tepul Mirzapur Gram Panchayat of Swarupnagar Assembly. He returned to the Trinamul Congress again with the help of Biswajit Das, president of Bangaon organizational district. As before, he started working again as an active worker of Chhatra Parishad. He was made coordinator of Bangaon organizational district Trinamool Chhatra Parishad. Then he became the Administrator of Agriculture and Livestock Development Sub-Committee of Tepul Mirzapur Gram Panchayat.
