Bill Heitman

Bill has been working with the scroll saw for 17 years. Itall started one holiday season at Home Depotwhen he saw someone cutting out ornaments on aDremel scroll saw during a demo, and he thought tohimself “I can do that.” Now, five scroll sawsand many years later, Bill still loves the craft. When it comesto adding the finishing touches, Sandy lends ahelping hand. She paints the projects and does the finickybits. However, painting is not Sandy’s onlycreative outlet; her specialty is to work with all types of paper, mostly vellum and parchment, to create greetingcards of all kinds. She does the European parchmentcraft, also known as Pergamano, and uses aCricut machine. She has taken one-stroke painting classestoo. Sandy also has no problem to quickly whipup something in the kitchen to enhance a photo of thecompleted project (like the yummy cupcakes shownon the Easter cupcake stand that Bill cut, and shepainted).
