Sayem Sobhan Anvir: Sayem Sobhan Anvir is a promising business leader of his age in Bangladesh and the youngest among the Managing Directors of the country's top business giants. He is the third son of his parents - Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, an icon of modern housing and micro-credit without interest in the country, and Afroza Begum, main backstage player of the ultimate success stories credited to this family. Pioneering entrepreneurial ideas of his father moved him much and ultimately obliged him to take Sobhan senior's footprints by shouldering the responsibilities of the Bashundhara Group (BG) as the Managing Director. His spouse Sabrina Sobhan is also a Director of the business giant. The group, a cluster of as many as 20 operating and half a dozen would be operating enterprises, having domination in the real estate, construction inputs, heavy steel & engineering, paper & pulping, alternative energy, mass-media, maritime transportation, information technology, large-scale excavation & dredging, food & beverage, vocational & health education, utility service supplementation and international trading sectors.

Early life & Education: Sayem Sobhan Anvir was taught at the King's School in Ely, Cambridge Shire in the United Kingdom since post elementary to advanced levels. A BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) degree has been credited in his favor from the American International University in London in 2001. He was always an all-square and distinct personality of leadership-qualities during his school & university days.

Career as top executive: Upon Sayem's graduation from the United Kingdom in 2001, Sobhan senior and the BG Chairman wanted him to take over the giant industrial and business group as the Managing Director. His dynamic and pragmatic leadership has apparently helped the group achieve a new altitude from all respects creating employments for as many as 50 thousand workforces of different categories including expatriates. Enterprises of the group have long been the significant contributors to the state exchequer and subsequently been considered as the national development partners.
