Alice Gur-Arie began her career as a copywriter and graphic designer, eventually responsible for positioning global brands, and developing and executing their marketing and communication strategies.

Returning to her creative roots several years ago as a mixed media artist, Alice has produced five exhibitions, including The Iceland Trilogy, held at the Embassy of Iceland in London, England, and Black, White and Red in Nice, France.

Her fine art photography has been nominated for a Terry O’Neill Tag Photography Award, and auctioned at Christie's. "Tapestry" from the series "Still, Quiet Blue" was long listed for the Aesthetica Art Prize. "Mountain" from the series "Drama in the Fog" was selected for CultureLabel.com's Top Ten Artworks List. She recently was long listed for the Secret Art Prize.

In addition to developing her fine art photography portfolio, the ongoing series of "straight" street images from around the world, "In Public Places" is featured on her website.

Alice is represented by The Apple Gallery, Caiger Contemporary and Curious Duke Gallery; limited edition prints are available on CultureLabel.com. She is a Bridgeman Images Studio Artist, and has been featured as Artist of the month.

Ms. Gur-Arie holds degrees in English Literature, Education and Business.
