Hello, I’m Sefu. I’m a musician I am a fan of music, artist, and entrepreneurship. You can read my articles with a click on the button above.Sefu Musisa a.k.a Say did not want to be a rap artist. Say wanted to be a music producer and only a music producer. In 1998 Say began searching for a record producer. In 1998 Say found Jimmy Brown in the Raleigh, North Carolina yellow pages. When Say went to speak with Jimmy, Jimmy told Say he has to have singers or rappers on his instrumentals because it is difficult to sell a beat by itself with no singers or rappers on it when you are just getting started producing. Then Say thought to speak to his friends about them rapping on his instrumentals and Say's friends laughed at him. Say laughed at Jimmy for a few minutes for the thought of rapping or singing. Say said he does not know how to sing nor how to rap. So Say got started rapping because of Jimmy Brown his music producer. In 1998 Say finished recording his first rap album named Straight Stressed which he mailed out to nearly all the record labels in America. In 2000 Say had financial problems so he decided to go to Tanzania. In Tanzania Say was writing songs as usual when he received a phone call from his mother who was still in America telling Say Death Row and a few other record labels called the house saying they want to interview him. Say did not have the finances to go back to America so Say had to let the deal pass. Say did not start recording again until 2004. Say recorded 10 songs at MJ Records in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, Masaki then began taking his songs on CD and DVD to get played on major radio and t.v. stations. Many of the radio and t.v. stations did not accept Says songs. Say in 2006 wrote a song titled Nime Choka which in English translation means I'm Tired. Say wrote this song and featured two artist from Wanaume Family named Y.P. and Mh. Temba. Say also shot a video of this song together with Y.P. and Mh. Temba. Says video received airplay on a t.v. called C2C in Tanzania. Say began e-mailing his music out to different labels all around the world in search of a record deal. In September 2018 Say recorded a song named 4 Play ft. Lydia Brown at Wasafi Records in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with producer Lizer. November 2018 Say went to Johannesburg, South Africa to record first major video with director Justin Campos and dancer Christina. In 2019 Say e-mailed his video to MTV Base, Trace and Channel O
