Birth and childhood
Sazedur Abedin Santo was born on February 2 in Saghata Upazila of Gaibandha. Father Joynal Abedin and Mother Sabiha Sulta Rina. Sazedur Abedin Santo is the elder of the two brothers.
Education life
Sazedur Abedin Santo passed his secondary from TM Memorial Academy in Sonatala and higher secondary from Government Shah Sultan College. Currently, he is studying in the Department of Political Science at Mirpur Government Bangabandhu College.
Professional career
Sazedur Abedin Santo joined the online newspaper CNNews24 as the first journalist. After that he served as literary editor of Sangbad Aajkal and Bengali Barta newspaper. After that he worked in the Hello section of bdnews24.com, the country's first online news portal. Currently working as a staff reporter for Dainik Alokit Sakal and a contributor for The Daily Star.
Besides, He writes regularly in the feature section of Dhaka Business, Jagonews24, Ittefaq, Samakal, Jayjaydin, Dainik Kartoa, Dainik Odhikar, Dainik Khola Kagoj, Dainik Ajker Prottasya, The South Asian Times, Somoy TV Online, NTV, Ekushey TV, Bangladesh Journal, RisingBD, Daily New Sun, Nowaday24 and Barta Bazaar.
He mainly writes on public life, nature, entrepreneurship, corporate personality, information technology, travel, rural history, heritage and culture.
Writing
Sazedur Abedin Santo's first book of poetry 'Ashar, Tui and Mrittu'. The first poem was published in the online magazine 'Bogra Barta'. He used to regularly write poetry in Bogra's local newspaper Dainik Chandni Bazar.
Currently, he regularly writes poems, stories and columns in the literary pages of the country's national dailies. He also edited the art literature magazine 'Umesh Sahitya Samoyiki'. Unmesh Sahitya Samoyiki periodical has already released 5 issues.
Photography
In his spare time, Sazedur Abedin Santo likes to take pictures. He mainly photographed rivers, human life and nature. His photographs are regularly published in several national dailies including Prothom Alo.
Social organizer
He is associated with Allor Prodip, a social organization of Bogra and North Bengal. Allor Prodip is serving as the President of the Information, Publicity and Publication Sub-Committee of the organization. Besides, he is an active member of Bogra branch of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society.
