Views expressed are mine alone. I've been working with Community Colleges in Oregin since 2008, and I hope to continue to work with small colleges for many years in the future. My main areas of interest are in faculty professional development, instructional design for online learning, and support of people that are both teaching and taking online courses. In addition to supporting others working online, I have been teaching mathematics online since June of 2010. In the past year, I have been working on making my online Basic Math class more engaging and I will be checking off Quality Matters standards as I put my fall course together. Currently, I'm looking for an opportunity to teach online using the Moodle LMS. I have built courses and supported people working in this LMS, but I have not myself taught a class in it. We are going to be upgrading to Moodle 2.7 this summer, and I'm eager to be able to fully walk the walk.
