Sophia Boniecki

I am a high school senior hoping to work in the music industry with a focus on marketing and publicity in the future.

Being a senior at Communications High School, there is a requirement that I complete a mentorship position for one marking period in order to gain some experience in my chosen career field.

My experience comes from the most relevant coursework I can find at my school. One of these classes discusses the market for a book that we each create. I created a book for young children that will teach them the basics that they need in order to read sheet music. Another class I have signed up for in the past focuses on the technology and social media used to create and manage brands. My resume also indicates that I have been participating in marching band for five years now and that I have been a section leader for two of them. Marching band has taught me the importance of dedication, listening to directions, and how to work as a team.
