Shawn Boomstra

I am the Realtor /Owner of Homestead Realty in Grandville, Michigan. I have been in residential real estate for over 23 years beginning with RE/MAX of Grand Rapids, and then opening Homestead at the start of 2013. Helping my clients has been my career passion as they buy or sell one of their most important assets. The real estate industry has changed drastically as it has embraced so much new technology, but this has not replaced local market knowledge. and personal service.

Born in Fremont MI, I moved to Grand Rapids when I started attending Calvin College. Since graduating in 1990 I have lived in Grand Rapids, Alto, Caledonia, and for the last 15 years in Byron Center. I married my wife Janna and we have 4 children, Savannah, Olivia, Claire, and Ethan. When not watching my children s activities I have been a soccer coach at South Christian High School for 4 years. I have been a board member on the Byron Center Chamber of Commerce, and a youth leader in my church.
